Dear
All,
Please join us Thursday, October 24th from
8am - 9:30am at NM Tech for a brainstorming session on how to improve New
Mexico’s approaches to water management. This is an open event—please feel free
to share and bring others!
This meeting will be held immediately prior
to the New Mexico Water Data Workshop, being hosted by the NM Bureau of Geology
(link
to the Data Workshop)—if you are available—please come to both. We
need your input!
The purpose of this brainstorming session is
to discuss challenges in managing water across New Mexico and explore
opportunities to modernize our approaches to water policy, management, and
infrastructure planning and funding at the state level. We’ve had initial
listening sessions in Albuquerque and Santa Fe and are hoping to hear from
communities and sectors across the state. If you cannot make this
meeting, there will be another in several weeks. Please feel free to call
or send ideas at any time.
The listening session will be held:
Thursday, October 24
8:00 - 9:30 am
at The Macey Center
New Mexico Tech
909 Olive Lane
Socorro, NM 87801
Please join if you can and come with good
ideas!
Thanks so much!
Melanie
