VEGETATION MANAGEMENT FOR THE OIL FIELD AND OTHER NON-CROPLAND AREAS
Eddy County Extension Service, Carlsbad and Central Valley Soil and water Conservation Districts and the BLM, will be conducting a workshop on vegetation management on May 31 starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 4:30 pm, at the Eddy County Community Building at the Eddy County Fairgrounds. This workshop has an agenda that includes vegetation ID, soil, and environmental fate of pesticides, pesticide selection runoff issues, and revegetation as well as site considerations. This should be an open workshop and discussion on what you need to know. This class will offer Continuing Educations Credits (5 CEU’s) for private applicators, public and commercial applicators.
